BOE-THERM is a company specialising in controlling the temperature of fluids from -25ºC to +350ºC, independent of flow and volume. The company was founded in 1961 in Denmark by Mr Jorgen Boe. In 1968 the company was relocated to Assens. Until 1998 Jørgen Boe was personally in charge of the company, whose customers at the time included companies such as Danfoss, LEGO and B&O.

Today, BOE-THERM is headquartered in Assens, Denmark. The company has 23 employees. The managing director is Kim Lauridsen. The company's activities are mainly focused on improving performance with reliable and innovative temperature control solutions. Service and quality are the main keywords at BOE-THERM.

BOE-THERM products are widely used in various industries: plastics, food processing, packaging, medical, machine tool, welding technology, wind energy, robotics and other sectors.

Temperature regulation equipment

Temp 150 (for working with oil in the temperature range of 30 to 150°C and a heating output of 3, 6 or 9 kW)

Temp 300 (for oil operation within the temperature range of 30 to 200°C or 30 to 300°C. Heating power range from 6 to 36 kW. Oil level in reservoir electronically controlled - pump and heating elements are automatically switched off when oil level is too low)

Temp 350 (for oil operation in the temperature range of 30 to 350°C and output of 9 to 36 kW)

The BOE-THERM DTE comprises components from a standard range of industry-standard suppliers. All component parts are installed in such a way that they are not only easily accessible, but are also easily replaceable. Careful selection, calculation and adjustment of the components is achieved using The BOE-THERM DTE computer programs developed specifically for this purpose. Thus The BOE-THERM DTE has maximum cooling capacity while taking up a minimum of space.

Only high quality materials are used in the BOE-THERM DTE. The BOE-THERM DTE leaves nothing to chance and chooses a notoriously sturdy housing with integrated rubber feet. These feet can be easily removed for direct mounting in the customer's steel construction.

The insulated stainless steel water tank of the BOE-THERM DTE is sealed to prevent any possibility of algae growth caused by light. Furthermore, the warm air produced by the condenser does not remain in the BOE-THERM DTE, but is blown out directly by a powerful axial fan. These important design features of the BOE-THERM DTE guarantee a long service life.

BOE-THERM focuses on offering an optimum solution to the individual cooling task and, consequently, the Cool 50-150 offers countless standard combinations. The Cool 50-150 series of compact central chillers for 100% process water recirculation. The Cool 50-150 series is available in six sizes with cooling capacities from 50 to 150 kW.

The Cool 50-150 series is always supplied ready for operation and includes:

  • Large, thoroughly insulated stainless steel tank;
  • Semi-hermetic compressor;
  • Heat exchanger pipe;
  • Low noise level;
  • Overlays with more convenient locking system;
  • High performance features;
  • Low condensing temperature;
  • Improved component protection;
  • With its sturdy design, the cooler can be moved without any risk or damage to its parts.

COOL 3-32. A series of energy-saving and environmentally friendly mobile chillers for 100% process water recirculation. The chillers have a functional design and are delivered ready for operation. The chillers are based on the environmentally friendly refrigerant r407c and consist of the following main components: scroll compressor, heat exchanger, air cooled condenser and insulated water tank. The integrated microprocessor monitors the cooling circuit and regulates the water temperature of the chillers.

The chiller range includes both automatic and manual water-filled chillers.

The user-friendly control panel makes setting and reading quick and easy. The coolers are very easy to maintain due to the clear design of the machine. The coolers are available in 5 sizes, with cooling capacities from 3 to 32 kW at -15 to +30°C or 0°C to +30°C.

As all the fixtures included in the Temp series operate at high temperatures, all the hoses and fittings associated with the process are very important. BOE-THERM offers various accessories corresponding to the individual temperature ranges from 10 °C to 350 °C.

The temperature range is available as an optional remote control with which operating and diagnostic parameters can be monitored and changed. The remote control is magnetically based, so it can be placed on the central controller of the production machine or in any other required position.

The Temp series has a connector for a sensor. Using an external sensor, the temperature can be measured directly in the process. 

TEMP 350. Operates with oil as circulating medium in the temperature range from 30 °C to 350 °C. Temp 350 has a heat output from 9 to 36 kW. The Temp 350 is carefully insulated to prevent heat loss and the tank insulation is sealed against any overflow of oil. The low temperature in the expansion tank ensures long oil life.

The pump is immersed directly in the oil tank and the pump design, without a rotating shaft seal, ensures that the pump is hermetically sealed. The oil level in the tank is monitored electronically and if the oil level is too low, the pump and heating elements are automatically switched off. 

TEMP 300. It works with oil as a circulating medium in a temperature range of 30 °C to 200 °C or 30 °C to 300 °C. The required temperature range should be specified at the time of ordering.

Temp 300 has a heat output from 6 to 36 kW as standard. Temp 300 is carefully insulated to prevent heat loss and the tank insulation is sealed against any oil overflow. The low temperature in the expansion tank ensures a long service life of the oil. The pump is immersed directly into the oil tank and the pump design, without a rotating shaft seal, ensures that the pump is hermetically sealed.

The oil level in the tank is monitored electronically and if the oil level is too low, the pump and heating elements are automatically switched off. Temp 300 includes an option with a VAC system which automatically reduces the pressure in the process and allows the mould to be dried automatically before changing. There is also a small optical sensor on the front of the VAC system. 

TEMP 150. Operates with oil as a circulating medium at temperatures between 30 and 150°C and has a heat output of 3.6 or 9 kW. Temp 150 is thoroughly insulated to prevent heat loss, and the tank insulation is sealed against any overfilling of oil.

The pump is immersed directly into the oil tank and the pump design, without a rotating shaft seal, ensures that the pump is hermetically sealed. The oil level in the tank is monitored electronically and if the oil level is too low, the pump and heating elements are automatically switched off. 

MAGNETIC. Operates with pressurised water as a circulating medium in a temperature range from 10°C to 160°C. The unit has a default heating capacity of 4.5 to 9 kW.

The pump is magnetically coupled, which means that possible shaft sealing problems are avoided. In addition, Magnetic is equipped with a stainless steel supercharged tank as well as a booster pump to ensure constant pressure.

All parts in contact with the medium are made of stainless materials. The control unit controls the water level in the tank and ensures automatic filling. 

TEMP 95. Operates with water as a circulating medium at temperatures from 10 to 95 °C and has a heat output of 3 to 24 kW. The TEMP 95 series includes a small economical temperature controller with a small pump and a heat output of 3 kW.

TEMP 95 is carefully insulated to prevent heat loss and all components in contact with the medium are made from corrosion-resistant materials. The pump is immersed in a tank design without rotating seals, which ensures that the pump is hermetically sealed. The electronic controller monitors the water level in the tank and fills it automatically. 

MULTI-TEMP. Operates with water as a circulating medium at temperatures between 10-95 °C or 10-120 °C, with a heat transfer capacity of 4.5 - 18 kW and a pump capacity of up to 115 l/min as standard.

MULTI- TEMP has both direct and indirect cooling functions, called D- and I-series. MULTI-TEMP has a compact pump located outside the tank which is carefully insulated to prevent heat loss. An electronic regulator monitors the water level in the tank and fills it automatically.

Like the other models in the Temp series, MULTI- TEMP is also equipped with an integrated connection for connection to other production machines. In close cooperation with Grundfos, energy consumption has been reduced to achieve energy savings of up to 58 %. This series is called the "Green Line."
